Eagles Bonding
Eagles in the springtime use a method of
trust to bond with their life long mates
each year. They soar to great heights and
them lock talons and helicopter towards
the ground flaring just before crashing.
It is a sight to see and I have seen it many
times while in Alaska. The Eagle is a
raptor and prefers fresh kills, but he also
can survive on scraps and other sources
of food.
