The Rings of Good and Evil, the beginning

brothers and two of them were
jealous of his abilities.

They plotted to kill him.
They did not succeed and the hunter
carved Keet the Killer Whale to
avenge his bad brothers for their evil
thoughts.

The center is the Sun and he is
smiling as everything is good.

The first ring around the Sun is the
monster with three heads and was
the evil of the land.
The second ring of evil is the
Thunder Bird, and the great Sea
Monsters.
The outer ring is the ring of good
joining people and animals around
the world.

The birds flying around the world are
the Raven, Double Eagle and the
Hawk.
Do you know the their secret powers?
The Raven created the world and the animals
The Raven created the world and he
stole the Sun, Moon, and Stars from a
great chief for all the people to enjoy.

The border shows the migration of
his people around the world.

Raven needed help to complete his
plan so he gave certain animals great
powers. They changed people into
animals of the sky, land, and water.

This is why the natives talk about
animal people as part of their world.

See if you can name them all in the
panel?
